THE OPPORTUNITY

Based at Melbourne Airport, we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Tour Group Sales Manager to join our team to assist and support the Tour Group Manager in the effective and efficient running of the daily operations of the Tour group business.

You will be working in a fast-paced, customer centric environment with a friendly and diverse team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspiring your team to maximise sales opportunities to achieve KPI’s 
  • Maintain a strong focus on the business and understand the sales trends and forecasts in tour group market
  • Complete activities and promote initiatives to grow sales in the PRC (People's Republic of China) Tour Group market, building good relationships with them and agencies.
  • Stay informed about competitors and contribute to growth strategies.
  • Ensuring the ongoing and development at all tour group team members to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
  • To be aware of and achieve sales budgets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Be aware of, and adhere to all company and Airport policies and safety procedures

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Ability to speak fluent Chinese (Mandarin) is essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous Retail/Sales experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Experience of coaching/training people
  •  Proven, track record of achieving successful sales, in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

DETAILS OF THE ROLE  

  • Full Time position
  • 2 weeks rotating roster and availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
  • Flexibility with hours of work is important as our stores are open for long periods

It is essential to have your own form of reliable transport due to the early/late hours of work.

To work with Lotte Duty Free, you must hold a current Australian or International Passport.
