THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled and customer service oriented Travel Industry Specialist to join our Sydney Downtown Store. Reporting to the Travel Industry Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining good relationships with tour industry partners, promote and grow the PRC Tour Group Sales.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Work closely with the Travel Industry Manager to build and maintain a rapport with tour guides and tour leaders to grow market share
• Understand how to gain access and communicate with tour guides and tour leaders through digital Chinese platforms
• Prepare and organize group shopping booking lists based on the provided tour group details from clients, ensuring all information is complete and accurate
• Ensure all data entry for tour groups is completed accurately in a timely manner pre-shopping, together with issuance of coupons, and communication with tour guides, and leaders
• Manage and share the Tour Group shopping timetable with sales managers in the store

ABOUT YOU

• Knowledge of and/or experience with Tour Groups and Tour Companies
• Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin is essential
• A demonstrated ability to multi-task
• A strong sense of urgency at all times
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong numerical ability
• Experience of working in the duty free environment or luxury retail

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

• Location: Sydney Downtown Store - Market St. 
• Full time position – 76 hours per fortnight
• 2 week rotating roster
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays
