ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

A unique opportunity has arisen for an IT Application Support Officer to maintain and support Lotte Duty Free applications and systems, including GloB+, e-commerce websites, and back-end middleware, ensuring they are available and functioning correctly at all times.

Reporting to the Head of IT, this role will work closely with the Korean HQ development team, Team Leaders, and end-users to resolve any issues or incidents that may arise.

This is a dynamic, fast-paced luxury retail environment. Our ideal candidate is highly organised, has strong analytical and IT skills, and is a proactive application support professional who can maintain system stability, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively in English and Korean.

 

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Provide application support to end users, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Respond to IT requests, resolve issues with business units, and escalate when needed.
  • Manage applications to maintain stability and performance.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and ensure all environments are updated and compliant.
  • Work closely with Korean HQ developers to resolve application defects and enhancements.
  • Support system updates and UAT, and share accurate technical details with HQ and vendors.
  • Maintain updated SOPs, user guides, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Document system changes and incidents, recommend process improvements, and support system training.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in application support, ticketing systems and triaging
  • Proficiency in English and Korean
  • IT networking and hardware troubleshooting experience – desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills highly regarded
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
