THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Tour Group Administrator to join our team at Melbourne Airport. Reporting to the Tour Group Manager, you will be responsible for the administration of the Tour groups, managing them, booking, planning and informing locations a about their arrival and ensuring that the store provides the highest level of customer service possible.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Register and maintain data and documentation for tour groups, including compliance forms and a central repository for Tour Leaders.
• Liaise with the Tour Group Manager, management team, and relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and manage financial processes, including check requisitions, invoices, commission tracking, and daily and monthly reports.
• Respond to commission-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support sales growth initiatives in the PRC (People Republic of China) Tour Group market.
• Adhere to airport security, emergency, and health and safety procedures.

ABOUT YOU

• Ability to communicate fluently (verbal and written) in English and Mandarin
• Previous retail/sales experience of providing exceptional customer service and operations.
• Proven, track record of achieving sales, in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Knowledge of and/or experience with Tour Groups and Tour Companies
• Experience of working in the duty-free environment or luxury retail
• A reasonable level of physical fitness, as manual handling/heavy lifting will be involved
• Strong numerical ability
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is required

DETAILS OF THE ROLE  

• Location: Melbourne Airport
• Part Time Position
• Roster: 8:00 AM to 14:30 PM - Monday to Friday.
