THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to manage and deliver Beauty category buying activities across the regions, ensuring the right product range, pricing, and stock levels to achieve sales, gross margin, and inventory targets.

Reporting to the GM Merchandise & Supply Chain Management, the position will work closely with suppliers, planners, stores, and internal stakeholders to execute product launches, promotions, and ongoing range optimisation, while contributing to strong commercial outcomes for the category.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• End-to-end buying and ranging ownership
• Sales, forecast, and performance analysis
• Supplier negotiation and margin delivery
• Stock, allocation, and clearance management
• Cross-functional execution with Stores, Marketing & VM
• Product launches and in-store performance
• Leadership and support of planning and merchandising teams

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

• 5+ years in retail buying or a similar role
• Experience managing a Beauty category or branded portfolio
• Strong commercial and numerical skills, to analyse sales, margin, and stock data
• Experience working with suppliers on pricing, promotions, and launches
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Desirable

• Experience in Travel Retail
• Understanding of the FMCG industry
