ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Coordinator is an all-encompassing role that plays a part in end-to-end coordination of marketing campaigns for Oceania across stores, online and on social media.

This person will work across activities including coordinating the production of promotional collateral, social media & email content and in-store activations. They will maintain relationships and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives.

This role is currently based at our Abbotsford Head Office, however we will be relocating to the CBD early next year. This is a full-time role.

DUTIES

Digital Marketing

Social media management:

  • Managing the local Instagram and Facebook accounts for Australia and New Zealand
  • Track social media budget and report back to General Manager Marketing on effectiveness and cost of campaigns

Email management:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Specialist to prepare content for the eDM schedule including sales and editorial / product features
  • Provide feedback on content  and assist with copy writing for new eDMS

Ecommerce:

  • Contribute to the growth and sales of the Australian and New Zealand websites 
  • Coordinate the process of uploading new products to each website by liaising between suppliers and buying teams 

Visual merchandising:

  • Work with the VM manager and Buying teams to assist with the delivery of store VM and ongoing promotions
  • Report back to VM and buying team on any new brand promotions as requested
  • Create briefs for designers & printers and managing the draft process/approval process for Liquor, Wine, Champagne and Cognac promotions
  • Coordinate the production and scheduling of promotional content and supplier content on store LCD screens
  • Support the marketing team in the management of ticketing to support in store sales promotions

Administration

  • Assist with raising purchase orders
  • Manage the approval process for invoices and payments with the Accounts Payable team
  • Management of the team Marketing WIP, updated weekly
  • Manage supply of store and office consumables (e.g. tote bags, signage etc)
  • Update Store Communications register as required
  • Meeting notes and action plans at weekly Buyers meetings.
  • Any other administrative duties as required by the General Manager Marketing

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Ensuring that promotional collateral is produced, approved, delivered and installed in line with production dates.
  • Ensuring social media content is planned, created/sourced and approved.
  • Ensuring that all promotion dates and production schedules are up to date and circulated to relevant parties.
  • Process all marketing invoices on time and within budget.
  • Maintaining key relationships between internal and external stakeholders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • MUST have exceptional time management skills
  • MUST have high attention to detail
  • MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a similar field
  • 3+ years marketing experience
