THE OPPORTUNITY

Based at Melbourne Airport, we are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team to assist and support the Store Manager in the effective and efficient running of the daily operations of the business. This role will create sales and GP (gross profit) through effective management of sales team members and business operations.

You will be working in a fast-paced, customer centric environment with a friendly and diverse team.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspiring your team to reach Sales Budgets
  • Drive sales performance through trend analysis and team collaboration
  • Work with the team to maximise sales opportunities 
  • Stay informed about competitors and contribute to growth strategies.
  • Ensuring the ongoing and development at all team members to ensure a high quality customer experience.
  • Provide regular feedback to improve sales performance.
  • Maintain store presentation standards
  • Handle customer service issues promptly.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Exceptional customer service and leadership skills
  • Previous Retail/Sales experience in beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics required
  • Motivate staff to increase sales
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
  • The ability to speak a second language will be highly regarded
  • Have a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

DETAILS OF THE ROLE  

  • Full time position - 76 hours per fortnight
  • 2 weeks rotating roster and availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays
